TERMS OF SERVICE — FRIENDSTART

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FriendStart mobile application and related services (the “App”), operated by FriendStart (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use FriendStart.



1. Eligibility


You must be at least 17 years old to use FriendStart.

By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You meet the age requirement
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms




2. Purpose of the App


FriendStart is a social discovery platform, not a dating service.

The App is designed to help users:

  • Find buddies for events, hobbies, and shared experiences
  • Connect based on energy, mood, interests, and availability
  • Participate in Drops, chats, and social interactions


FriendStart does not guarantee matches, friendships, relationships, or outcomes.



3. Account Registration


To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.



4. User Conduct


You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Post illegal, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent yourself
  • Use the App for commercial solicitation without permission
  • Attempt to bypass security or moderation systems


We may remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion to maintain safety and community standards.



5. User Content


You retain ownership of the content you submit (“User Content”).

By posting User Content, you grant FriendStart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content solely for operating and improving the App.

You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the rights to it.



6. No-Profile Mode & Visibility


Some features (such as No-Profile Mode) limit visible personal information to other users.

However:

  • FriendStart may still internally process identifiers for safety, moderation, and functionality
  • No feature guarantees full anonymity




7. Payments & Subscriptions (If Applicable)


Some features may require payment or subscription.

All payments:

  • Are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system
  • Are subject to Apple’s payment terms
  • Are non-refundable except where required by law


Pricing and features may change at any time.



8. Termination


You may delete your account at any time via the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your behavior threatens user safety
  • Required by law or platform policies


Termination may occur without prior notice.



9. Disclaimer of Warranties


FriendStart is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will always function without interruptions
  • Matches or interactions will meet your expectations
  • Other users will behave appropriately


Use the App at your own risk.



10. Limitation of Liability


To the maximum extent permitted by law, FriendStart shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, reputation, or opportunities
  • User interactions or offline meetups


Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the past 12 months.



11. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FriendStart operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.



12. Changes to Terms


We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will notify users via the App or other reasonable means. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
